What to expect with your auto claim
Here’s how the process works for auto claims:
Tell us what happened
Whether you’re starting a claim online or with one of our claims experts, we’re here to help. We’ll ask questions about your claim and help you start the claim process.
Get an estimate
Our claims experts will help you find a nearby repair shop that can assess the damage and provide you with an estimate for the work. You might also get a rental, depending on policy coverage and damage to your vehicle.
Repairs and payment
You’ll pay your deductible, if applicable, at the repair shop. We’ll issue a payment to the repair shop or to you directly.
Accidents or injuries
If you, or anyone else, were injured as part of your auto claim, we’ll speak to a health care provider to help you with getting the care needed for your recovery.
When it comes to resolving claims, we’re committed to finding creative and sustainable solutions with eco-friendly practices and partnerships.
What you’ll need during an auto claim
Depending on what happened, we may need different information from you during the claims process:
We’ll need to know about the damage to your vehicle and how it occurred. We’ll also need to know whether the claim is due to a collision, theft, or other type of covered event.
If another driver was involved, we’ll need to know their details (like their insurance provider) and if a police report was created.
We’ll ask if any injuries were sustained as part of your claim, whether to yourself or someone else.
