Lisa is responsible for the underwriting performance of Co-operators General Insurance Company and CUMIS General Insurance Company. She is also accountable for Property and Casualty Insurance Solutions, which includes oversight of the product, pricing, business intelligence, underwriting and claims teams. Through her work, she enables solutions that drive efficient internal operations, leading to a better end-to-end experience for clients. She ensures that the company’s wide range of insurance products and services complement one another, thereby supporting Co-operators reputation as a holistic financial-services provider.

Committed to solutions that provide financial security for Canadians and our communities, Lisa’s successes include the implementation of Co-operators risk-based pricing models, the national rollout of a Comprehensive Water product, and the launch of proprietary tools, such as Risk Assist – a real-time analytics tool that guides clients and staff through the underwriting process and the launch of TomorrowStrong.

Lisa volunteers as a board member for the Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation (PACICC), the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction (ICLR) and is currently the Board Chair for St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation Guelph.

Lisa is a fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society. She has completed the Co-operative Certificate Program at the Schulich School of Business, and holds a math degree from the University of Waterloo.
