Quality repairs and replacements

Take advantage of our network of preferred vendors to repair or replace any damaged or stolen property. We guarantee the products and services of these vendors.

Accident forgiveness

If you have Accident Protection on your auto policy, your first at-fault accident is forgiven and your auto premiums will not increase.*

Service Review Panel

If your claim hasn't been resolved to your satisfaction, you may have the option to submit your case to our Service Review Panel. This panel consists of volunteer clients just like you and is one of a kind in the Canadian insurance industry. If the Panel recommends a change in the settlement of claim, we will follow their advice.

Client-paid claims

If you decide to pay your own claim, your premium will not increase and we will not use this information to deny you coverage in the future.

*Applies only to The Co-operators clients who have additional Accident Protector coverage.

A vehicle is considered a total loss when the cost to repair it is more than the car's market value, or ACV. When calculating a settlement, our appraiser consults a number of sources to confirm the market value of the vehicle. He then makes adjustments for mileage, condition and equipment.
