Laura Mably is Chief Human Resources Officer for Co-operators. With a key role in preserving and advancing the organization’s culture and values.

Laura oversees all facets of Co-operators people practices, from talent acquisition, employee wellness and performance management, through to business restructuring, organizational alignment, and change-management strategies. She is instrumental in supporting Co-operators evolution as a Financial Services organization, ensuring that the right roles exist for its developing business, and that the latest HR best practices are adopted for today’s changing corporate landscape.

Underpinning her deep experience, she has completed the Advanced Program in Human Resource Management and has obtained a Chartered Director designation from McMaster University. Laura also serves as a board member for the Human Resources Professional Society.

Prior to joining Co-operators in 2018, Laura held senior-level posts at AstraZeneca and Enbridge Gas Distribution.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English, as well as a Master of Science in Education, and lives with her husband and three daughters in Etobicoke, Ontario.
