Matthew has 14 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry. He began his career with Co-operators in 2010, where he managed a farm insurance portfolio and was an assistant to the Senior Financial Advisor. He was responsible for promoting the importance of having a holistic wealth and estate plan and had the responsibility of booking appointments for the Senior Financial Advisor. In 2021, Matthew became the agency owner of the office in Olds, AB, which began operating as Pierce Insurance Financial Group Inc. Since that time, his focus has been establishing a team of professionals to provide financial security to our clients and communities.
He has attained the Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP™) designation in addition to holding his Life, including Accident & Sickness, and General licences. Matthew specializes in farm estate and succession planning, along with retirement planning. While assisting his farm and business clients in the financial planning areas that we offer, he always takes a co-ordinated approach in acting as a liaison between his clients and their legal and tax professionals to ensure his recommendations make sense. His clients include business owners, farming families, retirees, healthcare professionals, families, and individuals.
Matthew grew up in Swift Current, SK. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys getting out in the community, curling, golfing, hiking, travelling, and spending time with his wife, Becky, and their two puppies, Ghost and Luna.

Becky Pierce
Associate Insurance Advisor II
Becky grew up in Chestermere, AB. After completing high school, she attended various post-secondary education programs obtaining her Emergency Medical Responder Certificate, Oil and Gas Administration Diploma, Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Diploma and most recently her General Level II Insurance Licence. She is currently working toward obtaining her Chartered Insurance Professional Designation.
Becky began her career with Co-operators in August 2020. Prior to starting down the insurance path, Becky spent over a decade in the Health and Safety Industry, which made it an easy choice for her to transition into her role as a Commercial Insurance Advisor. Becky is able to use her knowledge and experience to provide our clients with individualized advice. She takes pride in knowing she is helping business owners protect one of their biggest assets.
Becky enjoys meeting and building relationships with her clients. In her spare time, you can find her playing ringette, going to the gym, travelling, and spending time with her husband an their two pomskies, Luna and Ghost.

Carolyn Djakovic
Associate Financial Advisor
Carolyn has been a proud member of Co-operators since 2017. Prior to joining the Co-operators team, she attended Olds College where she attained her Agriculture Management Diploma, majoring in Financial Services. After graduating college, she moved to British Columbia, where she realized she missed working in the agricultural industry, so she decided to make the move back to Olds to pursue a career with Co-operators.
Carolyn is one of our commercial and farm specialists. She specializes in large, specialized risks. She also carries her Life and Accident and Sickness licences where she focuses on life, disability and critical illness insurance planning. She is passionate in using her knowledge to work with business owners and farmers to create a plan that meets their unique needs and financial goals.
Carolyn resides in the town of Olds with her two dogs and horse. If she isn't working, you can find her heading west to the mountains to dirt bike or sled. She also loves to support the town of Olds and surrounding communities by attending local fundraisers and events, especially if they have anything to do with horses.

Cheryl Dirks
Associate Insurance Advisor II
Cheryl grew up in Red Deer, AB. After graduating with her Office Administration Diploma in 2005, she was a stay-at-home mom for seven years while raising her children. She lives in Bowden with her husband, Jason, and their three children.
Cheryl began her career with the Olds Co-operators in May 2022. After one year with our agency, Cheryl has successfully attained her Level 2 General Insurance Licence through the Alberta Insurance Council. She specializes in auto, business auto (fleet), home and farm insurance. Cheryl is motivated to provide her clients with accurate insurance advice and solutions. She finds passion in problem solving and tailoring our clients' portfolios to ensure they are fully protected.
Cheryl has become a friendly face in our office and enjoys getting to know our new and existing clients. When she isn’t working, she enjoys time with her family and friends, travelling, hiking and skiing.

Dawn Reimer
Associate Insurance Advisor I
Dawn is a seasoned Customer Service Representative starting an exciting new journey in a dynamic industry. With a background in telecommunications and management, Dawn brings extensive experience in delivering top-notch customer service to her valued clients. Dawn began her journey with Co-operators in June 2023.
Recently, Dawn obtained her General Level I Insurance Licence and has started to service our agency's auto and travel clients.
Having been a proud resident of Olds, Alberta for over 16 years, she is deeply rooted in the community and actively contributes as a board member for the local football program.
In her personal life, Dawn enjoys spending time with her four children – three boys aged 15, 13, 11, and a nine-year-old daughter. Her passions outside of work include running, hiking, and making new creations in the kitchen!

Logan Bender
Associate Insurance Advisor II
Logan grew up in Water Valley, AB. After graduating high school, Logan worked full-time at an agricultural feed store in Cochrane, AB. By surrounding herself with knowledge of products, feeds and crop information, she built many new relationships with farmers, ranchers and corporations.
Logan has been with Co-operators since August 2021 and has successfully attained her Level 2 General Insurance Licence through the Alberta Insurance Council. With her knowledge and passion for the agriculture industry, Logan has transitioned into the role of farm specialist. Logan’s bubbly and outgoing personality allows her to meet the needs of our clients, maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, and provide professional advice to all.
Outside of the office, you can find Logan at her acreage in Water Valley riding her horses, hunting, sledding, and chasing cows down the road.

Marissa Paley
Associate Insurance Advisor II
Marissa began her career with Co-operators in November 2022. Prior to joining the Co-operators Olds team, she worked in the childcare industry as an assistant executive director at a local childcare centre. Her managerial skills and real-life experience have been an asset as she transitioned into the insurance industry. She prides herself on going above and beyond for her clients, as she always puts herself in their shoes and treats them as she would want to be treated. Her favorite part of working for Pierce Insurance Financial Group Inc. is the quality of people she has the pleasure of working with.
Marissa specializes in personal lines and assists our clients with their home and auto portfolios, and has recently began the transition into business insurance. Marissa has successfully attained her Level 2 General Insurance Licence through the Alberta Insurance Council.
During her time away from the office, you can find Marissa spending quality time with her family and friends, mountain biking, swimming, hiking, and painting. She also enjoys sightseeing and relaxing down by the river. So, recommendations on locations are welcome!
