I grew up in Dauphin, MB and still have the strong work ethic and sense of family and community that are fostered growing up in a small town. My name is Amber Peatman. I grew up in Northern Alberta, but have resided in southern Alberta for nearly 20 years. Shortly after relocating to Nanton in 2003, I began my career in the insurance industry. I obtained the highest score in my level one licensing course.

My husband and I have put down roots in the community and look forward to watching our two daughters grow up here. The entire family enjoys camping and horseback riding.

Continuing my professional development remains a priority for me, as I believe learning is a lifelong journey. I look forward to serving the insurance needs of my clients for many years.

In May 2019, I returned to my hometown of Claresholm, AB, where I was born and raised. I enjoyed growing up on my Mom’s family farm and spent a lot of time at my Dad’s family ranch as well. The Lewis family recently celebrated 100 years here and I’m excited to be back working in both Claresholm and Nanton.

I am excited to begin growing strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients. I have been in the service industry since I started my first waitressing jobs as a teenager. I graduated high school in 1989 and went to Calgary to attend school at SAIT. Afterwards, I started a career in the paint and coatings industry, which I enjoyed for nearly 30 years. My rolls were receptionist, order desk, management and outside sales. I looked after a very large client base in Southern Alberta and have a good knowledge of commercial buildings and operations. This made a natural transition into my new role as a Farm & Commercial Insurance Advisor.

I have joined a fantastic team and look forward to providing personalized service with one-on-one advice.

My name is Jodie Gibson and I have been in the insurance and registry industry since 2011, specializing in personal lines since February 2018. I moved to Nanton as a teenager and remained there until my husband and I moved to Claresholm with our three sons in 2013. Our two oldest boys have been involved in the Claresholm Minor Hockey program for the last five years, and my youngest will be joining the game this year. With Canada’s favourite sport taking up the majority of my winter weekends, I’m left to the warmer-weather hobbies, which include dirt biking, camping, and softball. If I do manage to get a winter weekend, I choose to spend it scrapbooking, reading, or snowmobiling. Feel free to stop in to meet me and handle any of your insurance needs!

I have been with The Co-operators since July 2000, working in both the Claresholm and Nanton offices to help clients with their Auto, Home and Farm insurance. Now I spend most of my time in Claresholm, and specializing in Business insurance.

I have lived in Claresholm since 1998, raising my two children. I keep busy volunteering with Special Olympics Lethbridge as a swimming coach (10 years), Friendz Helping Friendz Society where I prepare and serve Thanksgiving and Christmas Community dinners, and occasionally at the Auxiliary Hospital.

To keep busy, I love all things crafts and cooking. Bookshelves of cookbooks and baskets of craft supplies can be found in every corner of my home.
