I began my insurance career as in 2012 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. I have since built two successful agencies, one in Claresholm and one in Nanton. I grew up in Dauphin, MB and still have the strong work ethic and sense of family and community that are fostered growing up in a small town. My years of experience have taught me the value of client service and the importance of peace of mind that protecting your family can bring. I build strong relationships with all our clients and have helped many of them to exceed financially by offering my professional advice.

Hobbies

My husband and I have enjoyed raising our two daughters in Southern Alberta and are grateful to be part of such a strong community. As a family, we enjoy camping, horseback riding, competitive archery, and bowhunting. I am also passionate about giving back through volunteer work and supporting local organizations, events, and initiatives that strengthen our community.

In May 2019, I returned to my hometown of Claresholm, AB, where I was born and raised. I enjoyed growing up on my Mom’s family farm and spent a lot of time at my Dad’s family ranch as well. The Lewis family recently celebrated 100 years here and I’m excited to be back working in both Claresholm and Nanton.

I am excited to begin growing strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients. I have been in the service industry since I started my first waitressing jobs as a teenager. I graduated high school in 1989 and went to Calgary to attend school at SAIT. Afterwards, I started a career in the paint and coatings industry, which I enjoyed for nearly 30 years. My rolls were receptionist, order desk, management and outside sales. I looked after a very large client base in Southern Alberta and have a good knowledge of commercial buildings and operations. This made a natural transition into my new role as a Farm & Commercial Insurance Advisor.

I have joined a fantastic team and look forward to providing personalized service with one-on-one advice.

I have been with The Co-operators since July 2000, working in both the Claresholm and Nanton offices to help clients with their Auto, Home and Farm insurance. Now I spend most of my time in Claresholm, and specializing in Business insurance.

I have lived in Claresholm since 1998, raising my two children. I keep busy volunteering with Special Olympics Lethbridge as a swimming coach (10 years), Friendz Helping Friendz Society where I prepare and serve Thanksgiving and Christmas Community dinners, and occasionally at the Auxiliary Hospital.

To keep busy, I love all things crafts and cooking. Bookshelves of cookbooks and baskets of craft supplies can be found in every corner of my home.
