Mutual Fund Investment Specialist**

Will started with the agency in 2018, working under the previous owner, Dick Richards, with the plan to take over the operation in five to seven years. Dick's untimely passing in 2020 required Will to accelerate his training. He had already achieved his Life and Accident and Sickness licences, as well as his mutual fund licence, but had to complete his Certified Financial Planning designation, which he did in July of 2021.

In November 2021, he became the Financial Advisor for the Stettler and Bashaw offices. Then, in June 2023, Will and Pam took over the agency as the new owners.

Speciality

Will's primary focus is financial planning combined with farm and business insurance. He regularly meets with farmers and business owners to discuss the best way to make their money work for them and how to plan for the future.

Hobbies

Will loves spending time with his family and friends around the barbeque, as well as hunting and fishing, and is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Bethany Auton

Associate Insurance Advisor II

Bethany grew up in Stettler and is Pam and Will's oldest child. She is married to Judah and they live in Red Deer. When the opportunity came to work in the family business she was excited to transfer over.

Speciality

Bethany has been working for Co-operators since February 2022 and specializes in home and auto insurance. She also has special training in Facility Association and helps with the hard-to-insure auto.

Hobbies

Bethany enjoys a balance of spending time at home with a good book, puzzle or various crafts under fuzzy blankets with her senior kitty curled up on her lap, as well as time spent out with family and friends. Bethany also spends a few evenings a week volunteering with local youth groups and camp programs in the summer. She enjoys going for walks with her husband and watching a good movie with popcorn.

Brad Baltimore

Commercial Specialist

Brad grew up just north of Stettler on a farm where his family primarily raised purebred Angus cattle, as well as 300 head of commercial cow/calf operations. He has been with Co-operators since 1994 and owned his own agencies in Mayerthorpe and then Sedgewick until 2004 when he moved to Stettler to run this office for Dick Richards. Brad recently handed the reigns over to Will and Pam, enabling them to start their journey with this great company and allowing him to continue serving our farm and business clients, which is his passion. He's been privileged to work on developing several business programs and offerings in the past that are still in use today, and loves the connection we have as direct writers.

Speciality

Brad's focus is on the P&C side of things and primarily farm and business, but he has also been Life and A&S licensed since he began, so he can assist clients in understanding and/or procuring those products. He has a personal background in the oil and gas sector, having battery operated and worked derrick on the largest service rig in Western Canada at the time. Brad has been a manager with The Keg and has a decade of restaurant and bar experience plus a laundry list of short-term work that gives him a great deal of insight into many business settings, all of which lend well to selling and servicing business insurance.

Hobbies

Brad primarily loves to spend time gardening and with family, especially his grandkids. He is looking forward to doing some kayaking and camping out at Buffalo lake. He also enjoys woodworking and tinkering at fixing things.

Carlie Stewart

Associate Insurance Advisor II

Carlie is a married mom of two. She was raised on a fam just outside of Halkirk where she learned the value of hard work and had close ties to a summer camp that taught her about relationships and active living. She has been around the Stettler area her entire life and greatly appreciates the life small town living offers.

Speciality

Carlie joined Brown’s Insurance & Financial Services Inc. in the fall of 2022. As our in-office Level 2 home, auto, farm and travel advisor, she knows how important it is to ensure your loved ones are cared for and protected. Carlie would love to work with you for all your insurance needs.

Hobbies

When she's not working, Carlie loves to be out in nature with her friends and family, enjoying the latest seasonal outdoor activity. In the summer through fall, she enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and soaking up the sunshine. In the winter months, Carlie enjoys skating, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and ice fishing, as well as cozying up beside the fire with a book and a cup of tea or hosting friends for dinner.

Jacob Stynsky

Jacob is originally from Saskatchewan and moved to Stettler after finishing economics classes at the University of Regina. As our new Associate Financial Advisor, he looks forward to

meeting with members of the community.

Speciality

He is licensed through the Alberta Insurance Council for life insurance, as well as Accident & Sickness. He just completed his Canadian investment fund course and will soon be able to help you with all your investment needs, such as TSFAs, RRSPs, RESPs, etc. He takes a holistic approach to ensure that your needs and your family's needs are covered, and that you're on track to reach your retirement goals.

Hobbies

Jacob is an outdoors person and loves to fish, hunt, walk his dog and hike. He enjoys all kinds of sports, as well as competitive gaming, reading about history and mythology, and keeping up with current events and world economics.

Lisa Turcotte

Associate Insurance Advisor II

Lisa is our newest member and is passionate about helping you to find the right insurance products for your needs. She has been in the Bashaw and Central Alberta Region for almost 30 years and knows the diverse communities that we live in and the challenges we sometimes face. In our ever-changing and evolving world, Lisa can help you enjoy peace of mind with the best coverage for your home, auto and farm insurance needs.

Speciality

Lisa has achieved her General Level 2 Licence and helps our clients with their home, auto and travel needs. She will be getting trained in farm insurance in the near future.

Hobbies

When she's not busy with her four grandchildren, Lisa enjoys airbrushing, playing drums/spoons to all kinds of music, gardening, family genealogy, and reading.

Pam Brown

Associate Insurance Advisor III

Pam’s introduction to the insurance industry began in 2013 when she took a job as an administrative assistant. In 2018 she successfully obtained her Life Insurance Licence and in 2019 she obtained her General Insurance Licence (Level 2). Pam is Will's spouse and they look forward to running the business together and getting to know the clients. Pam is always continuing to build her knowledge of this diverse and ever-changing industry, and has become one of our many experts in the office.

Speciality

Pam handles our more complex auto and home policies. She also specializes in helping clients with income replacement insurance in the event they are injured on or off the job. She also recently completed her farm and travel training and will be able to help you with that, as well.

Hobbies

Pam enjoys her cup of coffee each morning curled up in her chair. She loves spending time with her family and their significant others. She's an avid scrap booker and enjoys sitting down with one of her favorite books. Pam also enjoys going for walks.
