I like to tell people that my career started in 1991 when I was two, spending time at my father’s office, while he spent countless hours working to build his company and clientele from almost nothing. Officially, I started my career with Co-operators in March 2008. After graduating high school, I was working in the oilfield when, thankfully, John Anderson (then owner/Advisor of John Anderson Agencies) offered me a position at his office. Now, I’ll take this time to acknowledge that I may have had a leg up on the competition (being John’s son) and that my mom more than likely swayed his decision, for which I will be forever grateful. Immediately after I was hired, John tossed me in the fire and, within a span of four months, I obtained my Life/Investment Licence and General Insurance Licence. Like most who start in the industry, I spent the bulk of my time helping guide clients through the ins and outs of auto, home and life insurance. As time went on and opportunities arose, I found myself versed in all lines of insurance with a focus on life, business and farm insurance, as well as investments.

The last 16 years have been incredibly challenging but, at the same time, incredibly rewarding. Having started as an Associate Insurance Advisor, working my way to Associate Financial Advisor, I am now proudly (as of April 1, 2019) the Financial Advisor/Owner of Anderson Insurance Group.

I believe deeply in following the legacy my father started by providing exceptional client service, and creating deep and lasting relationships with our clients. If I took anything from my father over the last 16 years it would be: Provide exceptional service, be genuine, and treat every client like they are a part of the family.

My spare time is filled by spending time with my wife, Kalee, and our dog, Luna, doing anything and everything we possibly can together or by working on my side project, Northmen Coffee Co.
