With strong roots in the farming community, Karen grew up spending summers on her grandparents’ century farm, helping with chores and learning firsthand the values of hard work and resilience. That connection to agriculture continues to inspire her dedication to support farm families and businesses today.
Outside of work, Karen is passionate about giving back to the community. She volunteers with a local autism group, a cause that is especially close to her heart as a mom to a son with autism. When she’s not working or volunteering, you’ll often find her at the rink playing or watching hockey or behind a camera capturing landscapes through photography.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in History, Economics and Political Science. I have also completed my post-graduate diploma in Business Management from Mississauga, Ontario. My studies emphasized organizational behavior and finance, giving me a balanced perspective on both people and performance.
