In 2006 we expanded to our present location at 3 Marteau Road in beautiful downtown Cheticamp, Nova Scotia. Feel free to give us a call or drop in and ask us for an insurance quote or information. We pride ourselves on being accessible and there for our clients. Our office provides service in English and French. We are centrally located in Cheticamp and also travel to many of our customer’s homes and businesses as we serve most of Inverness and Victoria Counties on Cape Breton Island.

Francine Poirier

Associate Insurance Advisor

Francine began representing The Co-operators in October of 2000, taking on the role of Associate Insurance Advisor. She came to The Co-operators after 20 years in the Canadian Banking field as a Customer Assistance Officer, and brought with her those many years of experience. She is very knowledgeable with Home, Auto and Travel insurance, which helps with giving her clients excellent service.

Since receiving her General Insurance License in 2001, she has also received a Service Excellence Award in 2004 for consistent outstanding service to clients of The Co-operators. Francine spends much of her time at the office taking calls and serving her clients to help fulfill their insurance needs or send them in the right direction.

Francine is married with one daughter. She has spent her whole life in Cheticamp. She enjoys vacationing and exploring the beauty of Cape Breton Island and Nova Scotia. She also enjoys camping; nature walks, and is an active member of Les Amis du Plein Aire. She also helps raise funds for the Acadien Centre as an active member.
