Let's Help Spread a Smile With Cookies ! Today I'm with Mike a local owner of a Tim Hortons here in Napanee to talk about the smile cookie program. They have generously selected the @lacghfoundation as the recipient of all the proceeds for their smile cookies. That's right 100% of the proceeds of the cookies go to our local hospital. This runs until may 4th so be sure to grab some while the program lasts ! I was able to chat with Amanda part of the LACGH foundation team to ask what areas of the hospital these proceeds will go too in 2025. Last year the hospital achieved their goal for brining an MRI to the LACGH, and now they want to help expand the emergency services department of the hospital. To show our support the Napanee Co-operators bought a truck bed of cookies ! We then went around town handing them out to people and business who support us and this community. We wanted to show our support for awesome initiative like this with business's directly giving back. Thank you again to Mike and his team at our Local Tim Hortons for running the smile cookie program, and thank you to the LACGHF for bring more services to our community. How did @canadianmadeeh.ca help with our office renovations ? Tom and his team helped turn a raw logo into 3D signs throughout our Napanee Co-operators office. The process was so interesting from logo PDF, to the materials, laser cutting, wood working and finally install time. Tom and his team put a lot of care into their projects and we thank them for helping turn this project into reality. 2024’s Food Drive was a success, Over 5000 pounds of food was raised and 2000 in cash donations All of it was possible thanks to the incredible support of the Napanee community. The Frontenac ATV club hosted a fantastic ATV ride last weekend where dozens of people came to enjoy the trail and some pancakes half way! It does not matter if it is a ATV, Snow mobile, or motorcycle all these recreational vehicles help us get out and enjoy some fresh air with others. That’s why were happy to sponsor these clubs and bring some coffee and donuts during the morning registration! While we need to plan for the long term, its also important to enjoy the present and make memories with friends and family. Today’s Business Leader Summit was fantastic ! The Kingston Economic Development Corporation in collaboration with the BDC, RBC, and Canadian Royal Milk held great presentations on critical topic affecting all stages of business growth. Be it, a macro economic outlook, a talk about international trade, cyber security threats, and business transition planning. All are topics clients talk about daily in different sectors so getting a fresh perspective from other industry professionals was enlightening. It really is great to see how much effort and support is available to the business community through the economic development board and the community at large. This is a sneak peak of an awesome video we have coming out! We here at the Napanee Co-operators wanted to support the Dominos Pizza Dough Drive happening here in Napanee on August 21, 2024. Throughout the day there is a special pizza sale, and all the proceeds go to The Children’s Foundation. In showing our support we bought a truck bed of pizza! We plan on delivering those pizzas around town to other local non-profits and organizations that help support us in the community every day to further show our support.
