If you remember the truck bed full of pizza from last year, you’ll be happy to hear this: the Domino’s Dough Drive is back in Napanee. The event runs tomorrow, August 20th 2025, until 6:00 pm at Domino’s Pizza in Napanee, and it’s once again focused on supporting a great cause—the Children’s Foundation. A Look Behind the Scenes with Local Owner Seth Ahead of this year’s event, we had the chance to meet with Seth, the local Domino’s owner, to talk about last year’s success and what it really takes to run a community initiative at this scale. What many people don’t see is the coordination and teamwork happening behind the scenes. Last year’s Dough Drive involved more than 100 people working both in the background and at local Domino’s locations to make the event possible. That level of commitment speaks volumes about the power of local businesses coming together for something bigger than themselves. $18,000 Raised for the Children’s Foundation Thanks to community support and an incredible team effort, last year’s Domino’s Dough Drive raised just over $18,000, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Children’s Foundation. Initiatives like this show how impactful local charity events can be when businesses, staff, and the community all pull in the same direction. This year's All Hands on Deck Food Drive goal is 10,000 pounds of food collected! The event is just around the corner on August 14th here in Napanee. We will be back all day with the 88.7myFM team at many grocery locations, helping to collect donations and contributions while people shop. Today, we wanted to highlight one of two critical recipients of the All Hands on Deck Food Drive proceeds, our local Salvation Army of Napanee Abigail, their Director helped showcase to me and Emily from the 88.7myFM Radio how crucial their support is. Throughout the year, they provided nearly 100,000 pounds of food to individuals in our local community who need assistance. They also provide non-perishable essentials, and during the summer months are some of their most critical as reserves shrink and demand grows. Thank you again to the 88.7myFm team for hosting this All Hands on Deck Food Drive. It's a privilege to be the title sponsor for this event. As we aim to collect 10,000 pounds of food this year!
