Born in Central Alberta, Mike moved to Oregon as a young child and lived there for 10 years. He returned to Alberta in 1975 and has remained here since.

After following his dad into a teaching career, he followed him out of that field into the insurance industry in 2003. In those early years, Mike worked with clients to protect their financial future through life insurance and wealth accumulation. While he still spends time in these areas, his focus changed to managing the business when he became the head advisor in 2008.

In his free time, Mike enjoys golf, camping, playing music and spending time with family and friends.

Bridgette McKeen

Associate Insurance Advisor I

Bridgette was born in Ponoka and grew up in Bentley. Engaged at 18, Bridgette and family have remained in Central Alberta ever since. Her husband and four boys keep her very busy! The boys are avid athletes and several have their sights on college and beyond. The pursuit of elite sport has them often travelling in opposite directions to support the never-ending camps, training and competition.

Bridgette joined Kooman Agencies in early 2023.

In her spare time, which is rare, she loves to golf and hike and hang out with family and friends.

Charmayne Reinhart

Associate Financial Advisor

Charmayne was born in Innisfail and grew up in Medicine Hat. She attended college in Lethbridge and lived in many different towns and provinces over the years with her husband and two boys.

Charmayne and family moved to Red Deer in 2019. Seeing opportunity for work in the insurance industry, she obtained a General Insurance Licence. She has been with Kooman Agencies since late 2022 and has obtained her Life Insurance Licence, as well.

Charmayne's boys keep her busy when she's away from work and their passion for basketball has her hanging around gymnasiums. The family loves to travel; Disneyland is a favorite location where they've been several times.

Kelsey Zenkewich

Associate Insurance Advisor

Kelsey was born and raised in Saskatchewan before moving to Central Alberta in 2016. Coming to our province with insurance experience made her transition to our team seamless. She joined Kooman Agencies in the fall of 2019.

Kelsey is married with two kids who keep her busy! In her free time, she loves to hang out with family and friends and spend time outdoors or camping.

Kerri Vincent

Kerri was born in Calgary, raised in Elnora, and has remained in the Red Deer/Delburne area since. Her insurance career began with Co-operators corporate office in 1999 where she worked for 10 years before joining Kooman Agencies Ltd. in 2010.

Kerri reviews current policies, while helping clients protect their financial future through life insurance and wealth accumulation. Her lifelong farm background is invaluable in assisting our farm clients with farm estate planning.

In her free time, Kerri enjoys camping, curling, volunteering and spending time with family and friends.

Kevin Lehman

As Bill Kooman’s son-in-law, Kevin was born and raised in Ohio. After meeting and marrying Bill's daughter, the couple lived in Virginia until moving to Red Deer in 1996. That's when Kevin began his career in insurance with Kooman Agencies Ltd.

Kevin has excelled in managing our farm insurance portfolio for many years. His expertise and attention to detail ensures that our farm clients are very well looked after.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys golf, camping, hanging with family and friends, and chasing his kids’ collegiate athletic endeavors.

Shana Kooman

Client Contact Representative

Shana was born and raised near Gull Lake before moving to Red Deer in 1995. As the wife of Mike’s cousin, Shana brought another Kooman to Kooman Agencies Ltd. in 2014. As our Client Contact Representative, she manages too many tasks to list and is often referred to as the glue that holds everything together.

In her free time, Shana loves to read, travel and hang out with family and friends.

Teagan Kooman

Teagan was born and raised in Red Deer. As a passionate hockey player, Teagan committed a large part of his youth to the game. After a year playing for the Humboldt Broncos, injuries forced him to retire. When asked as a young boy about his career aspirations, he would tell you he wanted to be a professional hockey player – or work at Kooman Agencies Ltd. He got one of his wishes! As a third-generation Kooman, Teagan began with Kooman Agencies in 2016, carrying on the family legacy.

Teagan meets our clients' needs and specializes in business insurance, life insurance and disability coverage.

In his free time, Teagan is an avid golfer, plays recreational hockey, and loves camping and hanging out with friends.
