Alex has been in the insurance industry since May 2002. He started in commercial underwriting at a major Canadian insurer after completing a business diploma at Algonquin College in Business Administration-Insurance. In 2009, Alex obtained his Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) designation and is currently working towards the CIP insurance designation. In February 2017, he celebrated 10 years in business at Byrne Insurance Agency Inc.

A major focus for his team is financial planning and Life insurance through our partners Co-operators Life Insurance Company and Credential Asset Management Inc.

In his spare time, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and is an avid golfer and proud member of The Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club.

Lorianne began her insurance career in 2009 in B.C. and re-joined The Co-operators in Ontario in 2018. Lorianne plans to pursue her LLQP designation through the Insurance Institute of Canada and obtain her Mutual Funds licence. Outstanding client service has always been her priority with a focus on offering insurance coverage that provides proper protection. Being a past Farmers’ Market vendor, she is passionate about being involved in community events.She enjoys biking, cooking, hiking, nature watching, and photography with her husband and their son.
