Peter Maranger

Running a successful insurance and financial services agency is challenging. In my office, we have taken complex concepts and products that can be difficult to understand for most people and excelled at translating that knowledge into protection our clients can count on. I am very proud that our office has repeatedly received special recognition from the national head office of The Co-operators for our excellence in product knowledge, sales and client service.

Before joining The Co-operators in December 2003, Peter worked for GE for eight years, most recently with GE Commercial Equipment Finance. His responsibility was to provide multi-million dollar financing solutions to companies in the automotive manufacturing sector. Prior to this, he worked for GE Fleet Services, which provides leasing and fleet management solutions to medium to large companies with a fleet of company vehicles. Several times he won the Top Achievers award, which recognizes only the top two sales producers in the organization.

Peter started his career in the retail automotive business, spending 11 years within the Ford franchise dealer system. Seven years of this time was with Highbury Ford in London in various positions such as Fleet Manager, Business Manager and New Car Sales Manager. He was Ford's Peak Performer each year during his four years as Fleet Manager. This is awarded to the top 5% of sales producers in Canada.

Peter's mission statement is "Earning your trust by ensuring your financial security." Clients have many choices when it comes to insurance products. Most consumers have never read their insurance policies and very few truly understand them. Peter takes great personal satisfaction in understanding his clients' needs and tailoring an insurance solution that works best for them. He goes one step further, communicating in terms that people understand. Peter's clients truly appreciate this level of service.

Peter has been a Stratford resident for over 30 years. He is married and has four children. He has been very involved in both Stratford area and global community initiatives, volunteering through the Rotary Club, his church, Memorial Baptist Church, and many local charitable organizations. In recognition of his dedication to personal and business excellence, Peter was awarded The Co-operators Community Achievement Award for 2012 for Central Ontario Region. In 2008, he was awarded the highest honour bestowed by the Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce at its Annual Business Excellence Awards Event: the Personal Excellence Award.

Whether you are looking to protect your life, your home, your investments, your car, your farm or your business, look no further than Peter Maranger.

Why choose co-operatives?

Co-operatives like The Co-operators Group Limited connect their values to supporting the communities where they live and work. They are viable businesses that are more concerned with serving your needs than making money, and they look for ways to serve you better by creating ways for you to influence their business decisions. In return, they ensure you have the information you need to make choices that are best for you.

There are hundreds of co-ops benefiting Canadians across the country; all are strong businesses owned and operated by the members who use their services and governed based on shared values. Look for them in your community.
