Brett Lammie

Brett began his career with The Co-operators working alongside his father for 10 years before becoming an Advisor himself. In 2007, he became the Advisor in Wingham, which was a natural transition because of his extensive knowledge of the farming industry.

Brett was the recipient of the prestigious Top Farm Agency Award for Central Ontario Region. This award is a direct result of our Farm clients in Huron and Bruce counties who trust our agency as their number-one insurer of choice when it comes to protecting their farms.

Brett focusses in all faucets of insurance, but specializes in Life insurance, Financial Planning and Farm Estate Planning. One of the most difficult issues farmers face today is ensuring everyone is treated fairly when it’s time to pass the farm from one generation to the next, especially when not all of the children are interested in continuing with the farming tradition.

Farm Estate Planning or Succession Planning helps keep the farm intact, secure a comfortable retirement, pass your operation on to your heirs and minimize taxes, estate fees and transfer costs.

Financial situations vary, and so do life insurance needs. If you’re young and single with no significant financial obligations, you may have minimal need for life insurance. On the other hand, if you have a young family or a mortgage, you may have an enhanced need for insurance protection. The good news is that life insurance policies can be customized to meet even the most complicated family situations. Those who have not yet considered life insuranc, might be pleasantly surprised by the options available today.

Why choose co-operatives?

Co-operatives like The Co-operators Group Limited connect their values to supporting the communities where they live and work. They are viable businesses that are more concerned with serving your needs than making money, and they look for ways to serve you better by creating ways for you to influence their business decisions. In return, they ensure you have the information you need to make choices that are best for you.

There are hundreds of co-ops benefiting Canadians across the country; all are strong businesses owned and operated by the members who use their services and governed based on shared values. Look for them in your community.
