A message from our president and CEO
2020 has presented complex challenges. But as we work together to find solutions, we’ve seen these challenges lead to new understandings, insights, opportunities for growth, and hopefully, progress towards a stronger, more sustainable, and resilient society.
So many of the relationships we have established in neighbourhoods across Canada are grounded in face-to-face conversations with our clients and communities. With physical distancing in place, we’ve enhanced connections with our online tools, while still meeting client needs. The crisis has expanded the possibilities of digital interaction, shed light on what needs improving, and accelerated progress towards new ways of doing business.
Gradually re-opening advisor offices
As Canada continues to flatten the curve and communities across the country begin to ease restrictions, advisors in selected locations are preparing their offices to accommodate in-person meetings by appointment. To find out if your local office can accommodate in-person meetings, please contact your local advisor using our “Find an Advisor” tool, to find out what precautions are in place and how they are set up to best meet your needs.
All re-opening decisions are aligned with provincial restrictions and public health guidelines, and follow a detailed risk analysis by zones based on regional health data and local information. We continue to prioritize the health and safety of our clients and communities above all, and as restrictions are gradually lifted in various cities across Canada, we will continue to assess the risks and COVID-19 cases by community, region, and province daily to inform our return-to-offie decisions.
We are continuing to take a responsible, cautious approach to ensure that we do not contribute to the spread of the virus. You can be assured that any of our re-opened offices have implemented robust health protocols to keep our advisors, clients and communities safe, including rigorous cleaning protocols, physical distancing restrictions, the use of plexiglass barriers and PPE as required, and more.
As always, a variety of ways to connect
While doing business might look and feel different for us today, we’ve always stayed focused on delivering a seamless and customizable experience across the different ways you wish to connect – whether online, over the phone, by virtual appointment, or in-person, as restrictions allow. As we continue to move forward, we will do so mindfully and with care and concern for our communities at the forefront of our decisions. Thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation, and for doing your part as we work together to ensure our communities remain healthy and safe.
