Franco Filia

Our Agent, Franco Filia, has been representing the Co-operators since 1988 and is a well known community figure. He is currently sitting as Vice Chairman of the Lambton College Foundation and is past chairman of the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Sarnia district Financial Advisors Association (Advocis). Franco also contributes to a number of local charities and is a volunteer coach with the Sarnia Girls Soccer Club.

April Brown

April Brown, Associate Insurance/Financial Advisor

April is one of our Associate Insurance/Financial Advisors specializing in Auto, Home, Travel, Disability, Life insurance and investments. She completed an insurance program at Fanshawe College in 2007 and has since been working with Franco Filia and his team. She received her Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) designation in 2011.

April is always available to sit down and discuss your insurance needs, whether it's protecting your family with a Life insurance policy or coverage for your home or auto.

Shari Cooper

Shari Cooper , Associate Insurance/Financial Advisor

Shari joined Financial Advisor Franco Filia’s team in 2013, although she has been representing The Co-operators since 1998. Shari is one of our Associate Financial Advisors specializing in Business, Farm, Travel, Disability, Life insurance and investments, as well as Auto and Home insurance.

Shari is always available to help, whether it's making sure you have the right coverage for your business, protecting your family with Life insurance and investments, or discussing your Auto and Home insurance needs.


Julie Bell

Julie Bell, Associate Insurance Advisor

Julie is back after an extended maternity leave. Julie joined Financial Advisor Franco Filia and his team in 2002.

Jill Zimmer

Jill joined our office June 2013. However, she is not new to the insurance industry; she brings with her 25 years of insurance experience and is a great addition to our team. Jill has her Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. Jill is always available to help you with any Auto or Tenant insurance needs.

Josh is one of our Associate Financial Advisors. He graduated in 2013 from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelors of Engineering Science. Josh has been representing F.
