Two national magazines released Earth Day editions that include The Green 30 - a list of Canada's top employers that are highly regarded for their commitment to environmental, social and economic sustainability.

The Co-operators is proud to support Leave for Change, a program that enables staff members to transform part of their annual vacation time into a three-week volunteer assignment in a developing nation. Leave for Change is a partnership between The Co-operators and Uniterra, Canada’s largest volunteer organization, which is funded through the Canadian International Development Agency.

Four Co-operators staff members are participating this year by travelling to developing countries to share their knowledge and expertise in order to make a lasting difference in the lives of the local people.
