Agency of the Year

In 2007, 2008, 2009 and in 2010, Peter Maranger & Associates Inc. won Agency of the Year in their District, the Avon Thames geographical area. This recognition places the agency at the pinnacle of over 20 agencies in its own district and is awarded based on 18 factors such as sales achievements, profitability, percentage of multi-line clients added, excellence in underwriting and administration practices, as well as client satisfaction, retention and customer service.

Maranger's agency has received four top award designations: Level 1 Agency, Triple Crown Achievement, Executive Builder and LifeStar.

'Level 1' Agency Designation

Peter Maranger & Associates Inc. achieved Level 1 agency status, the highest agency designation awarded to individual Co-operators agencies. It recognizes excellence in underwriting practices for auto, home and commercial insurance, and is awarded on a yearly basis.

Triple Crown Achievement Award

From 2004-2010, Peter Maranger & Associates Inc. was awarded the prestigious Triple Crown Achievement Award. In order to qualify for this honour, an agency must be achieving top results and meet or exceed targets in areas such as new business and customer service.

Executive Builder Award

From 2006-2010, Peter Maranger & Associates Inc. reached the pinnacle in agency excellence: the Executive Builder Award. Only the top 10% of Co-operators agents in Canada receive this award.

The LifeStar Program recognizes exceptional life producers. 2009 represented a record year for new life insurance sales for the Stratford agency placing them 11th nationally out of over 600 locations. The agency specializes in the niche market of large life cases with over $10 million in coverage.

Prior to joining The Co-operators, Peter worked for GE for 8 years, most recently with GE Commercial Equipment Finance. His responsibility was to provide multi-million dollar financing solutions to companies in the automotive manufacturing sector. Prior to this he worked for GE Fleet Services which provides leasing and fleet management solutions to medium to large companies with a fleet of company vehicles. Several times he won the Top Achievers award; which recognizes only the top 2 sales producers in the organization.

Peter started his career in the retail automotive business, spending 11 years within the Ford franchise dealer system. Seven years of this time was with Highbury Ford in London in various positions such as Fleet Manager, Business Manager and New Car Sales Manager. He was Ford's Peak Performer each year during his 4 years as Fleet Manager. This is awarded to the top 5% of sales producers in Canada.
