I feel very fortunate to live and work in the vibrant community that is Guelph. As a local business person, I am a strong believer in giving back to the community through volunteering and other forms of support. Lending a hand is what brings a community together and helps it to grow.
Whether you are new to Guelph or a long time resident, sometimes you need assistance with a home repair, realtor, mortgage broker, or chiropractor. Should you need any of these services, please give us a call, send us an email or click on the links below.
The Rotary Club of Guelph South is a small club that serves the needs of the growing community of Guelph south. I joined the club in order to give back to my community. One of the events that we hold each year, is the Grate Groan Up Spelling Bee.
The second annual bee was held on October 25th. Eighteen teams of three adults competed for the title of top spellers. Teams are sponsored by local businesses, with individual members raising pledges for local charities. Prizes are awarded for best spellers, most funds raised, best costumes, and best team spirit.
This year's event raised approximately $10,000.00.
Buckle Up Bears Clinics
I am a certified car seat inspector. Being a parent with children, I see the importance of ensuring children are properly restrained while riding in vehicles. One of my first priorities in becoming an agent was to be able to conduct car seat clinics. To date I have held 2 clinics myself as well as volunteering at the corporate clinics. This community initiative is one of the important things we do to help ensure the community at large is better educated on how to install and maintain a car seat.
