Debbie began her career representing The Co-operators in 1975 at the Owen Sound Processing Centre for 11 years in various roles. In 1986, Debbie accepted a position at the District Office in Owen Sound as a Sales Supervisor.

As the company began to evolve and the structure started to change, she switched “hats” and accepted a position as an Agent. “I was nervous, but it has turned out to be the best decision I could have made. I have the most amazing staff and love my job!!” says Debbie of her career and staff.

Since then, Debbie has been a qualifier of Regional Builders every year since 1989 and Executive Builders 8 times.

“My staff and I have been lucky enough to have earned the honour of being named Agency of the Year 4 times – 2003, 2004, 2008, and 2010 for the North-eastern and Western Ontario Region”.

In 2007, due to Debbie’s success, she was named “Business Woman of the Year” in Grey-Bruce by The Owen Sound Sun Times.
