Lori first began her career representing The Co-operator’s when her mother Christina McKinnon suggested she come work with her, in her new agency. That was 13 years ago and many things have changed since then, both in the insurance industry and within the agency. Lori’s mother has since retired and Lori is now working with Agent Bill McGimpsey.

Since joining the Co-operator’s Lori has acquired her General Insurance Licence and has expanded her product knowledge to include auto, travel, home and most recently, commercial insurance.

In this ever-changing industry, one thing that has not changed is the great sense of satisfaction Lori gets from servicing clients and helping them to understand and fulfill their insurance needs.

When Lori is not working, she is usually busy taking care of her 3 young boys and shuffling them between activities. She has also been the Chairperson on the Board of Directors for her children’s daycare for the last 3 years.

Tara joined The Co-operators in 2003, following in the footsteps of her mother, who has been representing The Co-operators for 32 years. She has been assisting clients with their Home, Auto and Travel needs. Tara is now expanding her product knowledge to include Commercial insurance through intense training courses and ongoing study.

Tara is a graduate of St. Lawrence College in Cornwall, and holds a diploma in Business Administration. Along with her husband, Jason, their son, Nathan, they live in Cornwall.

Joanne, a native of Cornwall, began her career in the insurance industry 22 years ago. She joined The Co-operators in 2003 and is a Sales and Service Associate specializing in Auto and Travel Insurance.

“I love what I do and believe in the company I work for and the products we sell. I’m a people person and strive to ensure that our clients’ needs are met on an individual basis and I know that my expertise and experience helps them to make decisions with confidence.”

Now that her three teenage children are getting a bit more “self sufficient” she would like to devote time to obtaining her Certified Insurance Professional designation.

After 20 years as a stay at home mother Nancy returned to work part-time representing The Co-operators in 1997. The following year, Nancy obtained her General Insurance license and went on to take the auto insurance course. Over the years she has sold and serviced auto, home and travel insurance. In her current role she is the administrative assistant to the new Agent Bill McGimpsey, and continues to fill in for the other staff when they are off. Customer service remains a top priority to Nancy and she enjoys the interaction between their many and varied clients.
