Chisholm Foundation for Children

Our team attended the annual Blind Date with a Star in support of all the wonderful work Chisholm Foundation for Children does locally. This non-profit organization in Halifax provides a long-term Child and Youth Caring Program that specializes in early intervention, prevention and permanency planning. We had a wonderful time supporting this worthwhile charity. We even got to hang out with Dr. Strange and pirates!

Ward 5 Valentine's Dance

We were proud to once again sponsor this Neighborhood Dance at the Halifax Forum. $10,000 was raised! Ward 5 Neighborhood Centre is dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of all by sharing in a nurturing and welcoming environment. Ward 5 Neighborhood Centre is a charitable, non-profit organization located on Russell Street in Halifax.

Operating out of Saint Mark’s Church community hall, they have been providing programs and services for the past 48 years.

Ward 5 provides a wide range of programs for children and families.

Feed Nova Scotia, Elmridge Farm Ltd. & Van Meekeren Farms Ltd.

We support our farming community!

Our agency partnered with Elmridge Farm Ltd. & Van Meekeren Farms Ltd. to provide fresh local produce to Feed Nova Scotia.

It's a win/win when you get to help local farm families and those who need assistance.

We sponsored two families via Veith House and recently stopped by with a cheque for $1,500 as part of our commitment to support the local community we serve.

Ward 5 17th Annual North End Dance

Ward 5 Neighborhood Centre is dedicated to enriching and enhancing the lives of all by sharing in a nurturing and welcoming environment.

Ward 5 Neighborhood Centre, a non-profit organization on Russell Street in Halifax, has been providing community programs for over 30 years. In an average year, the centre prepares and serves more than 18,000 hot meals to children and seniors.

The Ward 5 North End Dance has been sold out for years and Amber MacInnis Insurance & Financial Services Inc. are proud sponsors of this event again this year!

Sole Sisters & Girls Gone Gazelle

Girls Gone Gazelle Run Club (GGG) is a not-for-profit organization that is entirely free to its participants with the motto: I don't chase boys, I pass them. In this organization, participants train their confidence as much as they train to run. Amber MacInnis Insurance & Financial Services Inc. is the club's first 2019 Community Champion that has provided sponsorship.

Feed Nova Scotia

Feed Nova Scotia is a charitable organization that helps feed hungry people by collecting and distributing food to more than 150 member agency food banks and meal programs. The organization strives to eliminate chronic hunger and poverty through research, awareness and support.

Co-operators is dedicated to sustainability. Providing clean roads and picking up debris benefits everyone; in fact, it's so important that Amber made this a family event.
